The 2016 exhibition was on the 19th of November and was (as near as we can tell) well received by all our visitors. You can leave comments & suggestions on the contact form if you wish.
The next one will also be held at the Bassingbourn Village College [SG8 5NR, just north of Royston] on the 18th of November 2017. The show will be open from 10 am until 4:30 pm and we will set up directions/maps/signs. A free bus service from Royston Bus & Train stations will again be provided (See HERE for Timetable/Directions).
The club normally meets every Friday, in the Town House, Church End, Barley SG8 8JW from 8.00 to 10.30 p.m.
Please check with Tony Clarke, [Tel: 01223 440111], or Barry Clements, [Tel: 01763 271031] if you want further information or confirmation that we are meeting, before coming along (as the Town House is sometimes used for other functions).
The club and members are involved in the building of model railway layouts in all the major scales for their own enjoyment and have exhibited their layouts at Model Railway Exhibitions all over the South East and East Anglia over the last fifteen years or so.
Whether you are an experienced modeller, just starting in the hobby / returning to the hobby after a period of absence , or you just need some advice, come along and have a cup of tea and a chat. No obligation to join the club.
We organise an exhibition in November to promote the hobby.

Looking to contact the Royston and District Model Engineering Society instead? (They can provide small steam outline locomotives and give rides at fetes and exhibitions on their portable outdoor track).

Our hosting Service now uses reCaptcha to secure the contact form. This means that you will be taken to a “verify” page where, usually, you will be set a challenge of copying a couple of words into a box to send your message. If you can’t read the challenge, click on the refresh icon (2 circular arrows in the challenge box) to be given a new challenge. Type the words as you see them; don’t put a “space” between them. We use this to cut down on the “Spam” messages that we used to receive on this account.
