Model Railway Club

We are a fairly small club, with about 35 members, and we usually meet from 8.00 to 10.00 p.m. on Friday evenings.

As we indicated on the “Home Page” we meet in the Whaddon Village Hall, a couple of miles North of Royston.

Refer to the “Home Page” to check for any changes to the meeting dates. We try to have a “running night” with our OO gauge layout “Somerton Bridge” once a month, when members can bring their DC- or DCC- fitted rolling stock and just admire (!).

The club and members are involved in the building of model railway layouts in all the major scales for their own enjoyment and have exhibited their layouts at Model Railway Exhibitions all over the South East and East Anglia. 2027 will mark the 40th year since we formally started our club.

We try to be friendly and welcoming to visitors (nice hot cups of tea on offer), we would appreciate it if you would contact the committee via our contact form for the up-to-date information concerning the current requirements for visitors.
